Unlike most sparkling rose wines, this one is made from 100% red grapes, Pinot Noir in this instance. It has a delightful pinkish onion-skin hue and a persistent smooth effervescence.
2014 was a very warm year resulting in concentrated ripe fruit delivering aromas of rich raspberry, dark cherry and cranberry. This wine would pair well with richer fuller flavoured meats like game, duck or lamb.
