FAQs
How long does the Vineyard tour take?
The tour takes 1.5 to 2 hours in total. After (or before your tour), there is the opportunity to continue enjoying your time in our Tasting Room, where you can try a larger range of our wines paired with a local cheese or charcuterie board.
Is the added extra cheese and charcuterie board choice when booking needed to ensure cheese with the wine pairing?
No, when booking on a tour you may be asked if you would like to add a Sussex Cheese Board or Sussex Charcuterie Board, this is an extra to enjoy in our Tasting Room after the tour has ended. The cheese provided during the tour is included in your ticket price.
How much is a taxi from Brighton to Albourne Estate?
Taxis to and from Brighton to Albourne Estate on weekends cost around £20 – £30 for normal rate. Larger vehicles for 6 – 8 people around £40 – 50. This can depend on the provider. We have a list of local and Brighton taxi companies available in our tasting room and on our website and we strongly recommend pre-booking.
Can I bring my dog to Albourne Estate?
We allow well-behaved and social dogs to visit the vineyard and spend time outside the Tasting Room where we have picnic tables set out on the grass. They must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are NOT allowed inside the Winery or Tasting Room or to join you if you are booked on a Tour.
Can dogs join the tour?
No, we are afraid that our Tour is not suitable for dogs as we spend time in the Winery and an indoor tasting area.
Can I bring my child?
Children under 18 years old are not allowed on our Tours but are allowed in our Tasting Room and outside areas. Please ensure they are well behaved and respect the other guests enjoying their day. Parents of young children are warned that there is open water and other hazards around the estate and that they are responsible at all times for the health and safety of their children.
Can I change my Vineyard Tour booking?
Yes, please email: info@albourneestate.com and we will be happy to accommodate. Please note all changes must be within 48 hrs of the booking or incur a £10 fee to extend the voucher code – this is per code.
