Stunning 120 acre Albourne Estate is well known as an award winning vineyard set at the foot of the South Downs. And yet, for those in the know, it is so much more. Set just outside Brighton and with plenty of parking it is the perfect place for private party and dining hire or for an indulgent private vineyard tour with wine tasting. Easily accessible, it is just 8 miles from Brighton and 30 minutes from Gatwick, in the heart of the tranquil Sussex countryside,
If you’re looking for something unique, maybe for a special birthday party and would like to incorporate a private wine tasting, our modern and well equipped Tasting Room is the perfect space. With a variety of different table layouts possible, it can accommodate 50 seated to 100 standing. Uniquely positioned on a mezzanine level above the Winery, it has floor-to-ceiling windows that open fully onto a large south-facing balcony, giving further spill-out space both here and onto the grassy picnic area beyond. With stunning views over the vineyard and the nearby South Downs it provides a flexibly large and bright space for your special event.
Snug and cosy in the Winter, your guests can relax and enjoy a beautiful view of the South Downs from the warmth of the Tasting Room whilst the space can be thrown open for those lovely, long, hot Summer days.

We work with a number of recommended local food suppliers and caterers for refreshments and food options and can also recommend local florists, tableware and furniture hire and venue stylists to help you dress the venue for special events.
We also have full disabled access and toilet facilities.

Booked the venue at reasonably short notice for 30 people and the team at Albourne Estate were very accommodating, nothing was an issue. Opted for a tour which was very informative, they also shared which cheeses pair nicely so brought these along and it really brought the experience to life. The very best place to hold a party! The venue is in a stunning location and the lovely decking area was the perfect place on a summer's evening to enjoy Albourne Estate’s MV sparkling rosé. Everyone commented how beautiful the setting was.

I just wanted to say a huge Thank You to you for a wonderful party on Saturday night. Kevin and I were really happy with all the arrangements and how the evening went. Everybody has commented on what a beautiful venue it was and the excellent wines, and Monica did a brilliant job of looking after us all on the night as well as helping with all the preparations – I couldn’t have done it all without her.

Fabulous tasting visit at Albourne Estate as part of our Sussex Wine Tour this summer. Wonderful hospitable welcome and stroll around the immaculate vineyards. Not only great to taste their wines, including delightful white blend of Chardonnay & Ortega, and their Pinot Noir, which was matched with lunch that show cased local Sussex cheeses & charcuterie, but also to taste their delicious Vermouth.

Albourne Estate is readily accessible from London (90 minutes), Brighton (20 minutes) and Gatwick (30 minutes) by car or by train from Hassocks train station (10 minutes away by taxi). There is ample car parking at the venue.
