Description
More about the Bacchus grape
The variety originated in Germany in the 1930’s as a cross between Muller-Thurgau and Silvaner x Riesling which has helped contribute to its complex nature. In order to enhance this complexity and build ‘terroir-character’ into our wines we blend multiple unique batches picked on different dates, split into different press fractions and fermented with different yeasts.
Food Match Suggestions: classic is English asparagus or goats cheese but it also works well with seafood such as dressed shellfish or stronger flavoured salads such as Caesar or rocket.
