Sparkling WIne Style
Our 2015 Blanc de Blancs was made exclusively from our own estate-grown Chardonnay and just 224 magnums of this wine were bottled and aged for more than 7 years on-lees prior to disgorging in 2023.
This is where the magic of the magnum kicks in. The larger format leads to gentler, slower, more graceful ageing of the wine enhancing the complexity whilst retaining a beautiful uplifting freshness. In the glass this Blanc de Blancs displays a fine consistent and elegant mousse with an enticing nose of abundant fresh citrus and orchard fruit. On the palate it displays a vibrant and pure core of acidity reminiscent of crunchy green apples layered with notes of baked brioche, nuts and delicate patisserie.
